Set up a compact painting session

Choose a clear surface and gather paper, paints, brushes and suitable water containers. Protect the work area and follow the materials guidance for use and cleanup.

Arrange the supplies so you can reach them without passing over the painting. Keep a separate scrap of the same paper for tests.

At the end, label any useful tests and note what you want to try next. A short setup and closing routine makes a small session easier to repeat.
